How to Tie a Bow Tie: Step-By-Step Guide

Firstly, make sure that length of one side of the bow tie is slightly longer than the other end. Keep the longer end on your right side.

In the next step, cross over the longer end over the shorter one.

Now, bring its longer end beneath the shorter end. Bring out the longer end from the center as shown above.

Step 4:

Fold the tie’s shorter end horizontally as shown above.

Step 5:

Put the bow tie’s longer end over its shorter end as illustrated.

Step 6:


Fold the bow tie’s longer end horizontally as shown above.

Step 7: 

Next, insert its longer end through the loop behind the shorter end as above.

Step 8:

Finally, pull both ends of the bow tie gently for tightening the knot.
